Photograph, black and white, labeled 'Eight Bells' showing the deck of Discovery during BANZARE. Visible are two crew members at the wheel, a man up the rigging, two officers on deck using natvigational equipment and what appears to be Frank Hurley (Expedition Photographer) at the right edge of the boat. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during the Banzare Expedition 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
