Envelope, Addressed to Miss Edith Robinson, Brookfield Terrace, Fairfield, Manchester. Postmarked London and dated 4/1/1904. On the rear of the envelope is a stamp for the Royal Societies Club. Letter written by Earnest Shackleton. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
