Hartley Ferrar lecture on Antarctic Regions ticket
Ticket for a lecture given by Hartley Ferrar (the geologist onboard the Discovery during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904) on 'Antarctic Regions', dated Friday 25th August 1905 at 8.30pm at the Town Hall Pietermaritzburg. Features a crest in red consisting of shield with elephant and five stars above and 'Umgungunhlovy' (which is a Zulu word meaning the secret conclave of the elephant) below. Part of a collection of archives belonging to Hartley Ferrar, geologist on Discovery 1901-1904.
