Letter, typed, to the Hon. R.J. Sneddon (The Premier, Wellington) from presumably William Colbeck, Christchurch, dated 23/4/1903. This gives details of the death of Seaman George T. Vince who slipped and fell down an ice slope in March 1902. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
