Menu card for the' Colonial Office and Discovery Committee Dinner to F.H.Harper, Esq., M.B.E.' held at the Florence Restaurant, Rupert Street, on Tuesday 2nd March, 1937, during which a film illustrating the work of the 'Discovery Expedition' was shown. Toasts on the reverse. Associated with Discovery II was one of the vessels used as part of the Discovery Investigations 1924-1951, a series of scientific investigations into the biology of whales in the Southern Ocean.
