National Antarctic Expedition 1902-1904, Vol VI- Zoology and Botany.

Book, volume of scientific reports bound in dark red with gold lettering on spine reading, "National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904. Natural History- Vol VI Zoology and Botany". Features stamp of British Museum - wreath surrounding crown and letters "B.M.(N.H.)" "British Museum 1912 ". Contains drawings and paintings by Edward Adrian Wilson (zoologist, artist and surgeon onboar the Discovery) of mammels and birds. Pocket in rear end board containing chart of the Antarctic Ocean. Inside front board there is a label with oval blue and white crest of the "British Museum Natural History" surrounding lion and unicorn rampart and crown. Inscription reads, "Presented by theTrustees of the British Museum". Also, overstamped "24 Dec1912 Royal Society of Edinburgh".
