Newspaper cutting, taken from an unknown publication dated 22/2/1930. Article entitled, 'Late Mr. W.G. Bilsby - funeral of well-known Hull ship-wright - Antarctic voyages recalled'. Concerns the death and funeral of Walter George Bilsby (shipwright and carpenter upon the Nimrod Expedition 1907-1909 and the Morning Relief Expedition 1902-1903). Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
