Drawing, plan of the huts, Camp Ridley, South Victoria Land by Captain William Colbeck, associated with the Southern Cross Expedition 1889-1900. Camp Ridley was so christened after Carsten Borchgrevink's (Expedition leader) English mother's maiden name. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during the Banzare Expedition 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
