Framed tapestry of Himalayan scene on jute

Picture on jute stretched on a wooden frame and glazed and framed in dark wooden moulding with gold inner edge. Background scene of Himalayan Peaks, trees and a building painted on the canvas. A procession of figures crosses the scene with a dignitary protected by a carried umbrella/shade. Figures dressed in traditional clothes and the two leading the procession appear to be musician/monks playing a horn and cymbals. The figures are embroidered and appliqued in threads and fabrics. Donor's father commissioned pictures in 1950s.
