Guide for Firemen to plan strategy for tackling fire

Six page foolscap document relating to the textile and Jute mills and storage warehouses which was used by firemen (terminology now firefighters). The document relates to the working Dundee Mills and was prepared by the Angus Area Fire Brigade in the 1960's . As a jute fire could be a hazardous and lengthy operation it was imperative that it was dealt with as quickly as possible and attending crews had as much information as possible.

The information includes the process carried out at the mill, location of sprinkler system and main valves, the location and size of nearby fire hydrants and internal hydrants.
