Memo, handwritten on paper headed, "Thomas Duff & Co. (India) Ltd., Calcutta, 3 Clive Row”, this gives details of information on World War One jute supplies. Attached to four sheet document entitled "Jute History". Part of a collection of items relating to Indian jute mills and Mr. Burt Clark. Clark joined Jute Industries as an apprentice in 1928. In 1933 he moved to India and began work as a clerk in Titaggua, later moving to Calcutta and becoming general manager for all the mills.
