Certificate, awarded to John Webster for completing ‘Jute Weaving: 2nd Year’, achieving a grade of first class from Dundee Technical College and School of Art. Signed by teacher Thomas Woodhomas, dated session 1927-1928. John was employed as mill manager in the Manhattan, Bowbridge and Douglasfield Works and between 1928 and 1936 moved to India working at the Nihatty and Landsdown Mills.
