Certificate, awarded to John Webster for completing ‘Mechanics Laboratory Stage I’, achieving a grade of first class from Dundee Technical College and School of Art. Signed by teacher Robert Elliott, dated session 1924-1926. John was employed as mill manager in the Manhattan, Bowbridge and Douglasfield Works and between 1928 and 1936 moved to India working at the Nihatty and Landsdown Mills.
