Porter Gauge/ Sett Measure
Porter gauge, flat round ended counter, one long edge with double curve and point , the other with straight edge marked in inches. This tool was used by a tenter to measure how many threads are in a particular section and therefore determine the reed (coarseness) of the fabric.
