Re-opening of Manhattan Works, 1951.
Photograph, black and white, relating to the opening of the reconstructed, Manhattan Works July 1951. Photograph shows Lord Bilsland addressing the staff. Lord Bilsland performed the official opening ceremony and was chairman of Scottish Council Development and Industry. Labelled on the back as 'Left to Right: G.H. Pilcher, W.R. Hutton, W.H.
