Study to investigate the causes of absenteeism

Folder, orange binder containing handwritten project entitled ‘Absenteeism: to investigate the causes of absenteeism in one department of Sidlaw Industries’, written by Robert H. Millar as part of the National Examinations Board in Supervisory Studies. This project was carried out at the College of Commerce, Dundee while Millar was Production Foreman, Twine Department, Camperdown Works. The final section of the project is a history of Sidlaw Industries Limited. This is included in a file of notes and information sheets from Dundee College of Technology Textile Department on the subject of twines, cords and ropes. It includes examination papers and many diagrams, worked answers to questions and coloured patterns for braids and braiding.
